Shipping from Japan
We typically use Roll‑On Roll‑Off (RoRo) vessels for reliable, cost‑effective transport. Transit times are usually 5–8 weeks, depending on route and schedule. We coordinate closely with your auction agent or supplier and track the vessel until arrival in the UK.
Customs Clearance
We prepare your customs entry before arrival to prevent storage or demurrage fees. Our team manages all documentation so your vehicle moves swiftly from port to our Southampton facility.
Arrival & Inspection
On arrival we complete a thorough visual inspection and record a walk‑around video to confirm condition and verify the planned work before

Modifications for UK Compliance
Common Adjustments

Over 10 Years Old
IVA isn’t required. You’ll need a fog light and an MOT. We can still convert your speedometer to mph for convenience.
Testing & Compliance
IVA Testing
We prepare your vehicle for the DVSA IVA test covering lighting, brakes, emissions, structure, documentation and more. After a pass, we handle all DVLA paperwork.
MOT Testing
For vehicles over three years old, we complete the MOT (and annually thereafter) to confirm safety and roadworthiness.
DVLA Registration & Handover
Once testing is complete we register the vehicle, obtain plates, and notify you for collection — or we can arrange UK‑wide delivery (open or enclosed).
Transfer of Residency (ToR) Help
If you’re relocating to the UK and meet HMRC criteria, we’ll guide you through ToR so you can import your car tax‑free (subject to eligibility).
